It's All In The Ride!!
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Customers often say "I was wondering, if I were to go with a trike kit, what makes yours stand out compared to any of the other major brands’ kit?"
Every manufacturer has a different type of demographic they build their trikes for. For instance, the Chevy Cavalier or GMC truck is built for a different type of person than a Cadillac. Therefore, you have different options, types of rides, cost, etc., each designed to attract a different type of person and meet different types of consumer needs.
Likewise, the different types of trike manufacturers have different types of riders they want to please and what you choose depends on what is important to you, and what type of riding you want to do.
Motortrike is built for the customer who wants to do serious touring and rides long distances and wants to do so in smooth comfort with effortless steering without being tired at the end of the day. The customer who has health issues such as arthritis will find the comfortable Motortrike ride is highly compatible with disabilities. The person who rides short commutes to work will appreciate the ease of handling in heavy traffic situations.
To accomplish all this, the engineers at Motortrike combined an independent suspension axle with Progressive shocks that give you 4” of suspension travel, then topped it off with fingertip control air shocks that are angled downward to capture the bump from the road and transfer the shock back down into the road surface rather than up into the rider.
Motortrike is the only trike manufacturer that has three types of suspensions combined into one end product. Additionally, the center of gravity is lowered on the independent suspension kits. This transfers more weight on the rear, making steering easier. Only about 3% of our customers request EZ steer (raking the front end), and those are usually ones with a handicap, such as shoulder surgery or back problems.
Motortrike’s kit incorporates an On-Board air compressor so you can adjust the air suspension with fingertip control of a button to make the ride as soft or firm as you like. Additionally, the Progressive shocks have a 5 point adjustment so you are in total control of the type of ride you want.
